Welcome to my genealogy page. I am
a newbie at genealogy (only two years) but I know
about 75% more about myself then I did 2 years
ago. My mother always told me that I had Irish
and English in me, boy was she mistaken.
Genealogy is very addictive and although I have
found out things about my family I can't stop
searching. I have been researching the
Broadwater's of Edgefield Co., SC and also
Accomack Co., VA. Charles and Scarborough were
the only Broadwater's on the 1790 census of
Edgefield Co.,SC. and I am trying to find out if
they were the sons of Elias Broadwater of
Accomack Co., VA. The dates are seeming to fit
but I still need the proof. I am also trying to
find as many of the descendants of Daniel de
Jouet that immigrated to Rhode Island in the
1600's. Looking for descendants of James M. Foley
of Patrick Co., VA and also for parents and
siblings of Thomas Perry Jones that was born in
1854 in Atlanta, GA. Haven't had much luck with
the Jones side of the family but I am still
looking. I have met some of my cousins via e-mail
and that has been nice. Would love meeting more.
